I know this is book forums & I'm sorrybut I kind of have to break the rules for a sec. I missed the VD epi that aired Thrus (last one before this break) & I just saw it.

OMG! M/C had the cutest scene, Bonnie & Damon both made me cry at the end. I love that Anna girl to peices, she so adroable & I love the love she has for her mom, risking Damon to get her back. Katherine has some nerves but I know that from the books.

What exactly was the point of making them sparkle in the sun?? I mean really?? the sparkling didnt really do anything to the vamps in Twilight did it??

I understand like in other vampire fiction books/movies that sun is harmful to them...like in TVD the show...they have to wear the ring in order to be protected from the sun or else they'll burn
