Indie Girl by Kavita Daswani was awesome! It's a young adult 'coming of age' book, 232 pages, and hilarious! The writing style is captivating as well. Definitely a must read!

I started to read a book by Kavita Deswani and loved it
Was about a girl called Priya was it Indie Girl Aish or Lalitha??
Hmm summer reads: would recommend Avalon High or My Sisters Keeper loved them both
Otherwise a Jill Mansell book if you want something light and funny

No; Indie Girl is about a girl called Indira Konkapuddi.

The book you are talking about with the main character named Priya is The Village Bride of Beverly Hills. The ironic thing is that I just got that book today from the library.😆 It sounds really good. I also got For Matrimonial Purposes by the same author.
