Lover boy Imran turns action hero

Luck's director Soham Shah tells us, "Imran will be doing martial arts for which he will be taking training in Cape Town, South Africa. It's an action thriller. Imran is working hard and has done major workouts for this film. I signed Imran before Jaane Tu was released because I wanted a fresh face for this character who has a macho image but a good looking face."

Adds the director, "Apart from Imran, Sanjay Dutt and Shruti Hassan will also do some important stunts. They will shoot in the hilly areas of Cape Town and in the desert of Namibia. Allan Amin is doing the stunts. Our first schedule was shot in Mumbai and now by the end of this month we are going for the long 55-day schedule in South Africa."

Asked why the movie is called Luck, the director reveals, "Here it stands for good luck and bad luck. Whatever circumstances you are going through, the main characters go through their individual luck."

We have learnt that for both the films Imran has gained weight by having eggs and chicken. He will be going to Cape Town by the end of this week.
