We all know these awards shows don't mean much...and all Kareena's performances are repeatitive...I wouldn't compare anyone to her! 😕

Ash isn't my favorite, but please compare Ash to an actress...not to someone, who can't even act. 😆

I don't think that a woman who can pull off characters like she played in Omkara, Chameli, Dev, Jab We Met, Refugee, Aitraaz (an ordinary role but she played it really well), etc. can be called a non-actress. Yes, Kareena has acted in some horrible movies and has given some less than stellar performances, but that cannot discount all the great work she has done!

Every actress has good and bad performances, including Ash. Dil ka Rishta, Hum Kissse se Kum Nahi, Albela, anyone?

Even though I'm not very fond of her, Priyanka stole Kareena's thunder in Aitraaz. Kareena's performance was reminiscent of her Ajnabe days whereas Priyanka was stellar.

Obviously Priyanka had the better role in Aitraaz, but the last 30 minutes of the movie (the courtroom scenes) was all Kareena and I think she handled those scenes very well!

Kareena has gained majority of her popularity by being Karishma's sister. Omkara was Saif and Ajay's film all the way. Kareena couldn't even cry in that film. In Jab We met she was good, I would have to admit, but majority of her performance reminded me of Karishma. In Aitraaz she sleep walked through the first half..and the ending was no biggie really. Those were good dialogues and anyone could've said them. Now a horrible dialogue like "show me what an animal you are" was so apt and wonderfully delievered by priyanka chopra...now that's what you call acting.

I don't mean to offend you and neither am I bashing Kareena. My views are strictly based on her performances. 😳

obviously every actor has good and bad days and I'm not discrediting anyone for their poor films/acting...but I'm basing my judgment strictly on what has been presented to us. The success of the film isn't only based on the stars in the film, but the story, direction, songs, etc.

Don't worry, I do not get offended over comments made about an actress. Actresses don't make a difference to my world. And you have every right to your opinion, this is afterall, a forum where all of us can freely express our views. 😃

Now on to Kareena. As for Omkara, although Ajay and Saif had the bigger roles, I felt Kareena really made a mark in her performance. She was natural to the core. I loved her in Jab we Met, and although I love Karisma I don't think that Karisma could have done as well in that role. Because Jab we Met was a simple film and not a grand film with everyone screaming at the top of their lungs, I feel that people discredit Kareena's performance. I've heard people saying "anyone could have done that role just as well." Um....really? Imagine someone like Amrita Arora, Riya Sen, Celina Jaitely, Amrita Rao, Amisha Patel, etc in that same role and tell me that they could have performed just as well as Kareena. Its the same with her performance in Aitraaz. Yes, the dialogues were good, but you also have to have someone who is talented delivering those lines. Put Esha Deol or Amisha Patel in that same role, and I guarantee that it would not have the same impact.
