His spokesperson tells us, "Akshay shot for Singh is Kinng's song in Egypt in the last week of May. The schedule lasted about 10 days. He then flew down to South Africa for Fear Factor following which he flew to Bangkok for the IIFAs. His wife Twinkle joined him there."

At IIFA, Akshay was only present on the last day and addressed the media at the Unforgettable Tour PC. He and Katrina Kaif left the audience spellbound with their spectacular Singh is Kinng themed performance during the awards. Moreover, he also received a special award from Bangkok, the host country. Akshay learnt martial arts in Bangkok and worked there as a chef before he entered Bollywood.

"After wrapping up IIFA, Akshay flew to South Africa for Fear Factor and returned to Mumbai for a day for Singh is Kinng's last minute scenes. He also addressed a press conference to clear all the controversies surrounding Singh is Kinng, in which he plays a Sikh," his manager informs us.

Half way into 2008 and Akshay has been half way across the world but there is a lot more in store. "Akshay will shoot for a month in the Bahamas and then come back to Mumbai for a short schedule of Chandni Chowk. Then he will fly to LA for Kambakkht Ishq's month long schedule. He will also perform at the opening act of The Unforgettable in Toronto on July 18."

So how does the super fit superstar manage to make time for fitness during his super hectic schedules? "I eat nutritious food and respect my body and look after it by working out well. I practice my martial arts. No matter where I am, I sleep enough. I love what I do so that makes me happy. I am grateful for all the success God has bestowed on me. Above all, I pray and have faith!"

In 2007 Akshay starred in four back to back super hits, namely, Namastey London, Heyy Babyy, Bhool Bhulaiya and Welcome.

Akshay has four releases this year as well. Tashan bombed at the BO but Akshay was the only saving grace of the movie. Singh is Kinng will team the super hot Jodi of Akshay and Katrina in August. Then Akshay will be accompanied by Deepika from Chandni Chowk to China in October. Lastly, he will be flanked by Kareena Kapoor, Beyonce and Sylvester Stallone in Kambakkth Ishq in December.
