Akshay Kumar to get doctorate, what joke

Bollywood's blockbuster boy man Akshay Kumar will be honored with doctorate on May 9.

The University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, who will present him the doctorate, said… it is basically for the social work Akshay had done in Canada.

No one should have issue if Akshay was being awarded for his contribution to world of cinema. Goosh…where did excuse of Akshay doing social work in Canada come from.

First… how much time did Akshay spend in Canada for so-called social work?
Second… he most probably had gone to Canada to shoot his movies.

This is pure joke, anyway an award is an award. Even Shipa shetty was awarded a doctorate for her sobing on Big Brother show. Next in line should be Shahrukh Khan for keeping media after him.

Then it should be Rakhi Sawant, you can cook any reason for awarding her a doctorate. Keep guessing… these days anyone could get doctorate… from here and there!

If I can remember SRK already got one from one university....

It would be better if they give them degrees for their work in cinema from Art institutes or colleges....

It is so difficult to get an actual doctorate degree. Ask a PhD student or a dental, medical student. You study all day and many nights for years. You pay to study to get your degree. You live in difficult conditions and do not get a social life. If you fare well on all exams, etc. THEN you are awarded a doctorate, which you proudly deserve.

This is a joke. Most of these guys have never even been to college! It is very demeaning to the concept of doctorate!
