Vidya Balan as Abhishek's love interest

Vidya Balan will be the leading lady of the Cheeni Kum director's next film.

Pa , the next one to be made by ad filmmaker R Balakrishnan (aka Balki), has Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan playing father and son.

While Big B will have no leading lady in the movie, Balki has finalized Vidya Balan to play Abhishek's love interest. The filmmaker had earlier thought of casting Aishwarya Rai for the role, but later dropped the idea because it would have looked like a family union.

Balki says he can already visualize Vidya as the love interest of Abhi in 'Pa'.

The film is a light-hearted comedy about bonding between father and son. The movie will also star Paresh Rawal . Illayaraja , who composed music for 'Cheeni Kum', will be Pa's music director.

Vidya and Abhishek have previously worked together in Guru in which he played a brotherly figure to her. The actress has also worked with the Big B in Eklavya .

Really lokking forward to see them.

I alway believed that Vidya would look nice with Abhi as Did Rani. She will complement.
