Ok guys, here's the latest update on the cold war brewing up between the Chopras and Akshay Kumar.

It all started with Akshay getting upset with Aditya Chopra, the producer of Tashan , for not giving in to his demand and airing his solo promos.

And now, we hear that Akshay had even refused to support the tie-up between the Tashan team and the recently-organised cricket match by Mukesh Ambani.

"The entire star cast of the film right from Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor came, but Akshay didn't, since he had a tie-up with a rival group," says a friend of the Chopras.

And we hear that, as a result, the Chopras are very upset with him and have decided to hit back by not signing him for any of their future films.

akshay doesn't need the yash raj camp to make it big. he's already one of india's biggest superstars without working with the yash raj camp for more than twice.

i think the yash raj camp needs akshay more than he needs them. how many duds did YRF give last year excluding CDI? and how many hits did akshay give last year? adi needs to wake up & smell the coffee.

ok,firstly,it was only 1 promo with saif and kareena....i dont get what the fuss is about...i dont think that this is true!

There was a recent interview where Akshay Kumar rubbished this rumour.

Even otherwise YRF clearly knows that it is them who need Akshay and not the other way around. Akshay Kumar is the only actor who went down.... almost out and then came to the top without any big banner support, without any top heroines support, without any godfathers/fathers/mothers recommendations and also proving good in almost all genres from romance to action to comedy.

He is the only actor who brought maximum revenue for Hindi film industry with 4 super hits.
