Rajeev Khandelwal was horrified when he started receiving get-well-soon cards and bouquets from fans. Find out why he got them

Rajeev Khandelwal had a weird experience while going through a rehearsal workshop for his debut film, Aamir. A 25-day workshop with director Rajkumar took Rajeev on the streets of Mumbai.

Our source says, "Rajeev had to attend a workshop and in some of the scenes he has to speak on the phone and the person on the other line shouts and abuses. Rajeev plays a character who is going through a very tough situation in life and so he is running helter-skelter, shouting and abusing on the streets of Mumbai. He had to shoot with hidden cameras with the person on the other line giving him instructions (to scream, laugh, talk loudly) without paying heed to the crowd. Rajeev used to do this action on the streets of Lokhandwala and people around him thought that he had lost his mind. Some even thought that he had no work and is depressed or insane. As a result his fans who saw him in this state were worried and started flooding him with get-well cards and flowers. Some cards even urged him not to lose faith in God."

When we contacted Rajeev, he said, "Obviously if you behave strangely on the crowded streets of Lokhandwala they will feel that something is wrong with me, especially when I am shouting, abusing and crying on the streets all by myself. The worst was that I could not even tell them that it was just a part of my workshop and nothing more."
