Preity replaces Bips on Bachchan tour

The only thing steady about the Bachchans' Unforgettable world tour so far is it has constantly been in the news! As for the stars scheduled to tour with them, it's getting harder to keep up with changes in the line-up. First, Akshay Kumar's participation was dicey due to fees, but the organizers couldn't bear to let him go and met his demand. Then, after some speculation, Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor announced that they won't be touring after all.

Lara Dutta backed out, too, as she felt Aishwarya would steal the show (she is, after all, bagging a plump fee of Rs 1 crore!). Now, Bips Basu has backed out as the organizers have refused to match her quoted fee, which she recently increased after the success of Race. But being Bollywood's first family, the Bachchans promptly got another Bollywood beauty on board: Preity Zinta! Let's hope this one sticks.
