Preity, Akshay Confirm for Bachchan's World Tour
After dilly dallying for so long, actor Akshay Kumar has finally confirmed that he will be a part of the Bachchans world tour being called 'The Unforgettable Tour', which begins in July. The tour is expected to cover 18 countries in Europe and North America. Actress Preity Zinta too confirmed that she will be a part of the tour.
The world tour seemed to be jeopardy with many of the stars staging walkouts for various reasons. Besides the three Bachchans, Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya, the tour will now feature Akshay, Preity Zinta and Ritesh Deshmukh. Zinta too confirmed that she will tour the world with the Bachchans. Among the stars who decided to opt out include, Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Bipasha Basu and Lara Dutta. Akshay had first opted out of the tour citing date problems. But later he arrived at an agreement with the organizers, whereby he will perform at only certain select locations. With Akshay now a part of the tour, it no longer appears to be doomed to be a purely Bachchan family show. With Akshay's rising equity among the NRIs, the show seems to be a winner already.
