Yash Raj signs Hrithik and Sonam

The actor has in fact signed a film with YRF in which he will star opposite Sonam Kapoor. The film will be directed by Pradeep Sarkar of Parineeta fame.

"I can't give many details but yes the film is inspired by Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. The film is expected to begin at the end of the year as both the stars don't have dates prior to that. Sonam is very excited about this film as she is great fan of Hrithik. She liked Hrithik role in Jodhaa Akbar," says a source.

Roshan, who is awaiting his second baby, is currently nursing his injured knee. "His knee was injured during the shoot of Krissh 2 years as his left knee was injured while doing the stunts. He had gone to Singapore for the treatment after filming for Jodhaa Akbar and Cinthol ad with this injury.

During the shoot of Jodhaa Akbar there was scene with elephant which was very painful for him to shoot but still he managed to do the shoot. Then recently he shot for Cinthol which had more stunts then Dhoom 2. In each scene he was finding it very difficult," says the source.

Even as far as dad, Rakesh Roshan's production Krazzy 4, Hrithik was originally supposed to do the song that was finally shot on SRK.
