Ranbir's debut on the ramp

Though Day 1 of the Lakme Fashion Week didn't have any wardrobe malfunctions to talk about, the cameras couldn't stop focussing on Ranbir Kapoor, who walked the ramp for the first time.

Day 1 of the Lakme India Fashion week started on a low note but the Bollywood presence soon kicked in. Designer Manish Malhotra's show had the who's who of Bollywood flocking to the red carpet, from Saif and Kareena, to Gauri Khan to Kajol - the Bollywood biggies were out in full presence.

Deepika Padukone also came in amidst a flash of lightbulbs as beau Ranbir kapoor walked the ramp for Arjun Khanna. So what started out as damp squib ended up being a pretty star-packed first day.

But the moment of the day was certainly Deepika and Ranbir getting cosy backstage post the Arjun Khanna show. Watch this space to find out just which other stars take to the ramp as well.
