Rajeev set for thrilling film debut

Gupta has worked as an associate director with Anurag Kashyap in Black Friday and No Smoking.

About the film, Gupta says, "Aamir is a cutting edge, thriller film about a middle class boy from Mumbai. Except for Rajeev, we have cast mostly theatre actors. A lot of people including me will be debuting with this movie.

However, not many are aware that the film has Anurag Kashyap as its creative producer. Anurag found the script of Aamir quite interesting and also believed in Rajeev as an actor due to which he got involved with the film."

Tell us something about the plot of the movie? "Rajeev plays the lead protagonist Aamir, who is a London based doctor. The film is mainly concerned with the theme of terrorism. It sees Aamir coming to meet his family in India but little does he know that he would soon get involved in a conspiracy that would take the story to its thrilling finale. "

When asked about the film, Rajeev comments, "I'm very excited and waiting for its release. The script is the USP of the film and the most interesting part is that my fans we see me in a different image. I'm hoping to break free of my romantic image of Sujal with Aamir."

The film is scheduled to release in April. We hope that, like Sujal had won the hearts of many female fans, Aamir too will do the same.
