The doting aunt takes time out for Lolo's beti's b'day

Kareena Kapoor may be busier than the proverbial bee with her film shootings, endorsement commitments, shows, events and boyfriend (not necessarily in that order) but when it comes to her little niece Samaira (sister Karisma's daughter) everything else becomes secondary.

The actress made sure she was free of all commitments on March 11, as she wanted to spend the whole day with birthday girl Samaira.
Says a source close to Kareena, "A month ago Bebo told her secretary Zahid Khan to keep all her engagements on hold. She wanted to be present for Samaira's 3rd birthday party. The actress was on a holiday-cum-work trip to London last week but she returned a day earlier to plan Samaira's party."
Party people
The kiddie party was held at Taj Lands End in Bandra in the afternoon. Continues the source, "Bebo spent the morning with her niece, and in the afternoon she organised the party. Besides Lolo, Sanjay Kapur and Babita, Samaira's friends from playschool, Malaika and Arbaaz's children, Boney Kapoor's children and Maheep and Sanjay Kapoor's children were there, among others."
Saif dropped in and was seen bonding with Babita.
Samaira loves Dora The Explorer and Bebo made that the theme. Most children wore Dora outfits and Samaira wore a frothy pink dress of satin and lace that Kareena had bought from London. The cake was in the shape of a castle with fairies dancing around it.
All the children at the party addressed Bebo as 'Geet' aunty after her character in Jab We Met.
Special day
Kareena Kapoor, who is currently shooting for the Anne French ad says, "We all had fun on Samaira's birthday. It was a special day for me and I loved spending time with Samaira and with the kids."
