Some stories just refuse to die down. Nine months ago, in June last year, Mumbai's nightlife had been agog at the sight of Tabu and Upen Patel exchanging a long, sizzling kiss at Poison in Bandra.

Both had been drinking and having a good time with their respective friends. So the kiss, enjoyed in full public view, had been rather indulgently put down to good times and high spirits.

However, now we've been hearing about Tabu and Upen indulging in some flirtation all over again, even in more sober times. Upen has confided to a friend that he finds Tabu "very hot" and also that he's really attracted to her quick mind.

With Tabu out of town, and in Hyderabad, more often than not, the flirtation has taken the route of the short messaging system. The two have been exchanging rather flirtatious SMSes lately, keeping up a banter about love and life (in the times of Bollywood?)

Upen Patel

When the messages run dry, they have long conversations on the phone and make plans of meeting. Just the other day, our source says, Upen went over to meet Tabu on her sets at Film City, where she was shooting for Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai.

When we called up to ask Upen about what's brewing between him and Tabu, he said, with great deliberation, "Oh, but I don't know Tabu at all. I've only bumped into her once and we exchanged a 'hello'. Beyond that, I don't know her."

We too took the route of the short messaging system and asked Tabu about Upen Patel. But she remained silent.

Yeah,heard bout him and Tabu kissing in some bar.Din't think the realationship would last more than a night...

Weird how Upen says he barely knows Tabu and just exchanged hi's and hellos with her.😕

Anything is possible...so it could be real or a publicity stunt...anyways, upen doesn't seem like Tabu type since she said she is into older and mature men who can pamper her just like her on-screen love story in cheeni kum 😳

I know it would interesting i think but i think tabu seems really sensible and level headed compared to upen though...but reading the article if they denied it how does media know who they are texting unke phone tap kiye hai kya
