If Shah Rukh Khan can go the distance and get 6-pack abs for his film Om Shanti Om, why can't John Abraham lose 12 kilos for Kukunoor's Aashayein? Well, Johnny did just that.

He lost those kilos and became leaner for a role that he defines as 'by far the best and most interesting character he has played to date'. Now, we know how much John dislikes being unfit, underweight or overweight.

So post the film, he took a 6-month break to put back on the lost kilos, and will return to face the camera tomorrow in Philadephia and then New York for yet another film

goodness.. wasn't john already lanky? i wonder how he must have looked like after losing those 12 kilos. i'm glad he's put the weight back on because he definitely doesn't need to be lankier than he already was last time.😊

interesting character eh? though i'm no john fan, i'll look out for this film.
