Ranbir Kapoor's debacle of a debut Saawariya has proved lucky for him in more ways than one. Despite being a box-office dud, the film helped him bag the Filmfare Award for Best Newcomer. Then came reports of his landing a role in Aamir Khan's next venture. However, the hottest buzz is Ranbir has been offered a colossal 4 crore for a film with Raj Kumar Santoshi. It will feature the one-film old Ranbir in the lead. According to sources, Santoshi met Ranbir's father Rishi Kapoor a few days ago to put forth this offer. As they share a good relationship and worked together in Damini many years ago, Rishi had no choice but to accept. Looks like the one-film wonder is hot property in tinsel town, arguably becoming the highest-paid newcomer to date. By the way, Ranbir refutes all of this as mere rumour.

I had watched Sawariyan only for Ranbir and his most wanted towel dance 😉 . Sawariyan is mostly recognized by Ranbir so i think he deserved all of it and even more 😃 . Will be looking forward to see him in lead again.
