 While we heard some lah-di-dahs whisper, "It's because Shah Rukh is hosting the event, and you know how rude he was to them last time, nah?" Others attributed the absence to them not having bagged too many nominations.The real reason, however, was that the First Family of Bollywood was in mourning. Amitabh's mother Teji Bachchan passed away a couple of months ago, then close Amar Singh's dad also passed away recently and the Bachchans aren't in a celebrating mood. |
