No birthday celebration for Abhishek as Amitabh falls ill

A sudden illness of dad Amitabh Bachchan has compelled the family to scrap the birthday celebrations for Abhishek Bachchan .
On Monday, Amitabh arrived in Jaipur from a shooting schedule in snowy Shimla to celebrate his son Abhishek's 32nd birthday. Abhi is shooting for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's film Dilli 6 in Jaipur and the whole Bachchan family, including Jaya Bachchan , bahu Aishwarya Rai family friend Amar Singh arrived there on Monday.
A birthday bash was planned for Abhishek on Tuesday. But now, the bash has been cancelled because Big B has fallen ill.
"Amitabh returned from Shimla on Monday where he was shooting for a film. He has cold, mild fever and some throat infection as well. Thus there will be no birthday function," Samajwadi party general secretary and family friend Amar Singh told reporters at the Rambagh Palace hotel in Jaipur.
"It will take Amitabh two more days to recover. We are in touch with his family doctors (in Mumbai) and even a local doctor is being consulted," Amar Singh added.
According to reports, Big B was in good shape when he left Shimla where he was shooting Shoojit Sircar's film with Sarika . Perhaps it was the sudden change in climate conditions, from snowy Shimla to relatively warmer Rajasthan that led to the illness.
