'Car'mic connection of Bollywood stars!
Many of them remember their days of struggle..autorickshaws, buses, trains, the works. And they also remember their first set of wheels like the first pay packet they gave to mum.
Today every actor, tiny or titanic, believes that slick wheels are a must-own. So, even as the nation buzzes with all that automobile talk, we polled movie townies on their car passions.
Urmila Matondkar
First Car: A little white Fiat which I was extremely proud of. I drove it the most from all my cars.
Now: Mercedes, Honda and an SUV .
Tomorrow: I'd love to own a two-seater Porsche or a Mercedes SLR 500.
Bipasha Basu
First car: Honda City. It is a fabulous car with a great engine. It was lucky for me.
Now: Porsche Cayenne and Skoda Octavia. The Porsche is a super class luxury, a driving pleasure. The Skoda is value for money with great mileage and fantastic suspension.
Tomorrow: I'd love to own an Audi V8 or V6..but my dream car will always be a Bentley .

First car: Maruti 800..that was when I was directing 'Everybody Says I'm Fine'. I would drive in it from town to and fro from RK Studio in Chembur.. It brings back fond memories of lengthy script sessions in the car.
Now: A Mercedes C class.
Tomorrow: I don't really care about a dream car since I don't drive myself.

First car: Maruti 800. It was a loyal and dependable car. I loved it.
Now: I own a Prado. It's fantastic for long-distance drives.
Tomorrow: A car which is electronic or runs on solar energy.. and which can also fly .

First car: Tata Indica which I bought from a part of my winnings from Miss India. I really loved that car.
Now: Skoda Octavia and Scorpio.
Tomorrow: I need a car which will take me through expressways and kacha roads as well. I'd love to own an Audi A6 of course.. along with an SUV like the Skoda Yeti or the Jeep Cherokee.

First car: Honda City and then a SUV Ford Endeavor. The Honda City was so special to me that I didn't sell it.. I gave it to a friend, so I can see it once in a while.
Now: SUV Lexus. Always liked SUVs.. big cars.. speed is a turn-on. A Lexus is a real dude of a car. A girl looks really cool driving a SUV. I've always had black cars.. it's my favourite colour.
Tomorrow: A Ferrari or a Hummer.

First car: Like most Mumbaikars, my first car was a Maruti 800.
Now: A Ford Endeavor Hurricane. It's ideal for Mumbai's roads.
Tomorrow: I would love to own a Range Rover and a Red Ferrari. I will soon buy one of these cars.. inshaallah.
