Salman gets ready for Tussauds
The bad boy of Bollywood, Salman Khan, is getting all set for the unveiling of his prestigious wax statue at Madamme Tussauds in a couple of hours. The actor flew to London on Monday and was accompanied by his girlfriend Katrina Kaif for the momentous occasion.
"Initially Salman had said no to the unveiling but over time he has become really excited about the whole thing. He is really looking forward to the whole thing. He has been involved in all the planning with the officials at the museum leading up to this day," says a source close to the actor.
The source adds that the actor plans to make his statue extra special and personal. "Salim uncle gave Salman that bracelet he wears with the firoza stone and Salman plans to give that very one to his statue at the museum. The bracelet means a lot to him and Salman wants all his fans to enjoy their visit to his statue and so wants to make sure that he makes it as personal and exactly like he is," says the source.
Salman has been accompanied by his British girlfriend Katrina Kaif for the unveiling. Although neither of the stars has openly acknowledged the fact that they are an item, Kat's presence at the unveiling has begun a new round of rumours suggesting that the couple might be ready to walk up the altar.
"They aren't getting married right now but Katrina and Salman are in a very good place right now. Before Salman left for filming for the climax of his Pokhiri remake in Hyderabad last week he was staying at their Panvel home since his birthday at the end of last year. Katrina would visit him almost every day after packing up with her shoot for the day. She worked pretty much over time to make sure that she could take these three days off to go with Salman for this special occasion. Salman wanted her by his side too," says the source.
The superstar will join the Big B, SRK and ex girl friend Aishwarya Rai in the Bollywood brigade at the world famous museum. The buzz also suggests that Khan has prepared a special video which will be played at the unveiling.

Although the details are being kept under wraps, a source says that Salman has ensured a lavish spread of food and drinks will be set out for all his guests.
