Abhishek Bachchan and Shilpa Shetty have purchased a flat each in Vashu Bhagnani's Pinnacle Dreams, at Mumbai's plush JVPD Scheme. The apartments are priced at Rs 12 crore each. Now, we wonder if this is just an investment on the part of Abhishek, or does he intend to move there with wife Ash, given that Pinnacle Dreams is happily placed right opposite Bachchans's bungalow, Jalsa.

Our source reveals, "It is well known that besides producing films, Vashu Bhagnani runs owns a construction business. His company is called Pooja Constructions. He has several projects under development. As for Pinnacle Dreams, Vashu has always been an Amitabh Bachchan fan, even when he was not part of the film industry.

Apparently, when he learnt that Amitabh had bought Jalsa at JVPD, it sparked off an ambition in Vashu to construct a building close to the Bachchan residence. Fortunately for him, a plot of vacant land was available opposite Jalsa. Vashu bought that land and the foundation of Pinnacle Dreams was laid."

Pinnacle Dreams happens to be the only building in Mumbai where each floor will have its own parking space. Our source says, "There's a car lift to accommodate cars, adjoining the flats, on each floor. The parking space can accommodate four cars comfortably."

All the flats have got sold out. Our source adds, "Most of the flats have been bought by prominent celebrities, Abhishek and Shilpa being amongst them. Abhishek and Shilpa were completely floored by the four-bedroom layout of the flat. As for Vashu, he was glad that Abhishek showed keen interest in investing in it."

Although Vashu Bhagnani was unavailable for comment, Ashwin Gor, the construction engineer, who also looks into the sales deals, confirmed the news. He said, "It is true that Abhishek and Shilpa have invested in flats in Pinnacle Dreams. In fact all the flats have been taken, most of them by celebrities. I don't think it is right for me to reveal their names."

When asked if the cost of each flat was indeed Rs 12 crore, Gor said, "I don't want to comment on that."
