Eleven-year-old Darsheel Safary, the adorable child actor of Taare Zameen Par, is almost famous. After the release of the film he is facing a deluge of offers. Among many, there is a film offer from Vidhu Vinod Chopra, a television show, and a high-end fashion brand that wants little Darsheel to endorse its soon-to-be-launched kids wear.

Darsheel, however, has left it on his parents and mentor Aamir Khan to determine his future projects. His mother, Sheetal reiterates, "We are complete outsiders in the industry. Mitesh (Darsheel's father) and I intend to consult Aamir Khan Productions before taking any call. "

If sources are to be believed, Aamir Khan has promised to help Darsheel. The actor has agreed to advise Darsheel on films and endorsements. The actor's production house has also been receiving calls from curious producers and filmmakers. Sheetal admits, "Yes, Sunil the first assistant director of Taare Zameen Par is also helping us. If there are any interesting projects he tells us about it. But we are yet to take a decision as far as Darsheel's next project is concerned."

But these offers have to wait as Darsheel, who is a fifth standard student of Greenlawns High School, is gearing up for his annual exams next month. The chhote ustaad (as he is fondly called by the crew members of Taare Zameen Par) is presently, poring over his books. "Right now he is concentrating on his studies and preparing for his exams. He will take up films only during his vacations in April," says Sheetal.
