I thought I'd open this topic coz it seems like a lot of us believe anything the media dishes out at us. And honestly, their reputation has plumetted in my eyes over the past few months. I'm sure all of your favorite stars were a target of the media's "creative" minds at one point at the other. You knew something about your stars for a fact, but the articles that came out painted a different picture. I've been noticing this more often coz my favorite actress is being targetted nonstop nowadays. And its frusterating coz her reputation is not the best in the world as it is.
From Kareena's break up, to her relations with other stars, she's been painted like a villain over and over again.
She was portrayed to have dumped Shahid, but both shahid and her have given interviews where they claim the break up was mutual. Then the confused media comes up with stories targetting shahid after kareena comes clean about herself. Now the poor guy's being linked up with Amrita, Vidya, Sania, and back to Amrita again.
Then it was supposedly published that Kareena ignored Rani, and this is what Kareena had to say to that one:
Karishma Upadhyay: There are rumours that Rani is upset with you? Is it so?
Kareena Kapoor: That's complete rubbish. I haven't met Rani, she is my dear friend and when she sees me, she treats me like her kid sister. She gives me a hug and is one of my good friend. So, I don't know how the rumours started in the first place.
And now, this whole new Deepika and Kareena war has surfaced, and its pathetic coz kareena herself said that Imtiaz had called her and told her that he only wants to cast her for very special roles, and that she's gonna wait for another Geet to come to her door. And besides, Kareena and Deepika are totally cool with each other. They've both been signed on for Sajid's next movie, and were seen chatting during the HT awards.
How much do you trust the media? And if this is how the much the tabloids have sunk, how can we trust anything they say?
