What makes the Bacchans so special?

Quote any interview AB is like a GOD! I fail to understand what is so special in him?

Why do people keep saying Ash wanted to be a Bachchan Bahu by hook or by crook? People even said she ditched Vivek caz she saw the Bachchan fruit hanging on a tree (sorry about the language)

Bachchan's dad was a poet and a decent man...alright. He is not the only one from a good family. And his scandals with Rekha didn't add to his family prestige.

Bachchan had many hits and many flops. Directors depended on him...alright, but there was Rajesh Khanna, Dev Anand, Dilip Kumar, Vinod Khanna, Raj Kapoor, Rishi, Shammi, Shashi, Ashok and Kishore Kumar etc and they were no less. Why is he praised more than them?

He is a good actor, no doubt in that. But why should people die for him or put him in their mandir? Isn't it too much???

If box office dominating = to divine personality then why not the other top actors? Didn't they prove their talent over the years?

everybody is normal! it's the people, who create mandhirs for AB and wait outside his home just to see a glimpse of him! I wouldn't do that for ANYONE! and nor would I expect that from anyone...it's just that some people take their admiration to different levels! I respect AB because he has an amazing personality and that very essence is visible in every movie and interview of his..the Public is NOT crazy...if they like someone they will keep them on a certain platform! Why is AB still considered such a great human being even after not inviting sooo many big stars to his son's wedding? it's because people understand him and his situations...and because despite all the things written about him people know he is a great human being! I don't think any human being is GOD, but yes AB is a very special person, whom I like millions of others respect very much and adore! 😊

I think its the ppl that's make them so special, bcoz they r still on screen ...besides that there is many more others stars who is also special ...maybe the media has forgotten them...thnks

a lot of it has to be blamed on the media...its become so powerful...tha it can put people on pedestal n even throw them down...and thats the only source of facts for a common man! But I agree with you Bachchans are way too overrated!Its annoying when they portray like they are the only 'perfect family'.

He is normal amitabh is a good actor and i think abhesehik is funny and jayas nice as well 👍🏼 but i do think they are a normal family though to be honest ...i dont even like ash alot though

personally i like hema and dhamendra because i think they are good actors and they brought their kids up soo normal as well not like stars 😊

It is not just the Bachchans, it is everyone in the film industry. When some heroine catches a cold or a viral, it is in the newspaper. Most of us have had virals or worse but no one knows or even cares because we are not on TV or the films.

People are obsessed with entertainers. It is really sad. There are people like firefighters, policeman, and military men who risk their lives for others. Doctors and lawyers and teachers help others, but they are never praised as much.

It is we the aam janta that have created superstars, they are not super in any way.

Rajesh Khanna got a 16 yr old Dimple pregnant and so had to marry her, he continued having affairs. AB had many linkups. Dharmendra committed adultery and bygamy. Half a dozen actresses have married married-men. Most of the people have had illicit affairs, have been arrested for tax evasion, etc. Kajol's mom killed someone in a hit and run accident.

But they are all forgiven because they are good looking and silly people like us put them on a pedestal.

The real reason is because everyone wants a hero to worship, thus star worshipping exists.

special or not special, at the end of the day they are a typical indian family who love each other and that keeps them strong, evenything else s madu up by the punlic
