Karan Johar's assistant Tarun turns director

Kirron Kher has become the favourite amma where Dharma productions and Yash Raj films are concerned. With Yash Raj films she's done Fanaa and Hum Tum whereas with Dharma Productions her first film was Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. But she has already been signed on for Karan Johar's next film.

Tarun Mansukhani, Karan Johar long-time assistant takes his first step as a director with this venture which features Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, and John Abraham in the lead roles. Tarun has been associated with Karan Johar from the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai days. And since Karan has already shot two of his films Kal Ho Na Ho and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna in New York this time he plans to shoot in Miami.

Tarun said, "It was Karan's idea to shoot in Miami. The location is the perfect choice for our script and the entire film will be shot in Miami. The shoot will start from March 2008 next year and it will be completed by July."

He added, "Karan Johar is actively involved with the script and other creative ideas behind the film. Fashion designer Aki Narula will be doing the styling of the film's male cast. Manish Malhotra will design Priyanka's look".

I wonder what made Priyanka to work with Abhi...she is too good....I hope Ash dont pop in on the sets to give her hard time.....or did Ash aproved other than her can work with her beloved hubby!!!!!!!!

YAY--> I luv John-Priyanka jodi...they are so HOT together...i luved their on-screen chemistry in their movie " karam" and brief appearance in " Taxi 9211"....uhm, Priyanka-Abhi are cute but John-Priyanka are the best...i was wondering when they will do another movie...i think PC was suppose to work in John movie goal but things didnt work out and Bips stepped in...so cant wait to see them on-screen again....although, the subject of the story was pretty gross and ridiculous...i dont understand KJO fasination w/homosexuals jokes...just leave out...he had done it in KHNH and now he is doing it again...i think its pretty disgusting...its a sensitive matter and its not liked by the conservative audience. I really hope that he changed the storyline. For those of you who dont know...its about 2 straight guys[JA & AB] pretending to be gays so they can live in an apartment and they fall in luv with their next door neighbor[PC]...rest you can understand😳😔

KJo wanted Ash for the role. She refused the film because the character has some "scenes" with John Abraham and also wears skimpy clothes.

Really?...oh wow...thats silly so now Ash wont work with any other actor than her hubby...O.K.watever...kajol is married 2 but she doesnt act like this...whatever...maybe she is doing this to impress her in-laws....watever...i luv PC...so i m glad she is in it😊

I think it is one's prerogative to decide with whom they want to work with. Doesn't mean that if Kajol does one thing then Ash should follow it too. Both are individuals with different minds sets.

Anyways the main reason is, female lead has skimpy clothes and some steamy scenes. May be she is not comfortable doing it after marriage. She continued with Akbar-Jodha after marriage with Hrithik.
