Anil Kapoor to host KBC?

It's a known fact that British filmmaker Danny Boyle is making a film called, 'Slumdog Millionaire' in India which is based on Indian version of the well-known reality show, 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?' ( Kaun Banega Crorepati ) and is currently in Mumbai to finalise casting and begin the shoot.

As far as casting is concerned, the director who is better known for making Hollywood films like A Life Less Ordinary, 28 Days Later, The Beach and Trainspotting had apparently approached Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan to play the role of a quizmaster in his film since both of them have actually hosted the show. However when we were busy guessing who'll bag the role from the two, strong rumours about Anil Kapoor being approached by the maker started doing the rounds!
Before we could get into the guessing games like others, we were fortunate enough to get through a source who revealed it all to us! A guest who has been staying at the same suburban five star hotel in Mumbai where Danny is currently based revealed that Anil Kapoor had talks with Danny and he is most likely to play the part. "Anil has frequent meets with Danny and Danny has even declared to his close associates that Anil is the one. He doesn't want to disclose the details to the press as yet though. In fact the shoot has almost started in the hotel. Anil will be playing the host of KBC in the film", confirms our source.
As far as the film is concerned, Slumdog Millionaire is said to revolve around 18-year-old illiterate slum kid (Aamir) who is doing extremely well on Kaun Banega Crorepati ! However, the producers and viewers are convinced that he has used despicable ways to win! Meanwhile, Aamir remains unfazed about others' opinion of him as his sole motive of participating in the show is of getting back in touch with his lost girlfriend (Latika)! Latika is an avid watcher of the show and Aamir hopes to get her back through the show.
