So you want to talk about Shahid Kapoor?

What about him? Shahid will always be a dear friend. I have no regrets about anything. HE is a superb actor and is damn good in Jab We Met

So you'll do another film opposite him?

Of course, I'd do it if I were offered a good role./ Why shouldn't I? He's one of my favorite co-stars, he's a complete natural. Shahid is a friend and will always be one. Contrary to popular belief, we are in touch almost every other day. I hope he continues to rock and becomes one of the biggest stars in the movies.

I hope you do know that it's being said you dumped him

Listen, I have dumped no one. Shahid knows the truth and that's what matters. Only the two people in the relationship know what actually went wrong. We've been having trouble for a while, but I won't get into all that It's not dignified to talk about unpleasant things. At the end of the day, I have zero regrets. And I don't own anyone any explanations. And I don't give a damn about what any one says or thinks

So you have given up on your vegetarian and ultra-religious ways

I'm still vegetarian. It suits me. My body is in the best shape it was. As for the other things, too much happened too soon. Whatever is meant to happen is meant to happen. Just like the sun rises, the sun sets. Some things are beyond my control

...According to reliable sources, cracks developed in their relationship over a year ago. It wasn't visible to outsiders because they genuinely wanted things to work out, and hence kept an ever-happy facade....'
