Hi People,
I have missed all the post release hype and hyesteria of OSO and Saawariya as work kept me soooooooooooooooo busy that I missed my haircut appointment this week. 😆
Chalo, back to the topic...
If anyone here remembers , in one of the earliest interviews of Salman regarding Saawariya, he had said.....
"Ranbir and Sonam are literally well-brought up children and i have seen them grow... they both are talented, good-looking and have worked really hard......(pause).. if Saawariya succeeds...good for them... but it'll be too eas\y for them..they might become vain and arrogant....but if it doesn't click, they'll understand the true value of stardom...theyll know that you have to keep on proving yourself."
And today, when Saawariya is being bashed and panned right left and centre with few people still falling for SLB's fairytake charm...These lines came instantly to my head...was Salman right or was he forseeing the fate of this film?
Saawariya's fate is not the end of the world for SLB, Ranbir and Sona...SLB still stays one of the greatest film-makers in the history of Indian cinema and he'll bounce back with a winner....Ranbir and Sonam will work towards carving a niche for themselves....they are stars already for that matter....people adore them irrespective of their reactions towards their debut film....
This is not the end of the world....Ranbir is still the true successor of the Kapoor clan and Sonam is still the elfin feminine charm that the new generation of heroines needs....I'll love to see them together again.....
And lastly , your debut doesn't decide your fate always....Rani, Kajol, Madhuri, Preity, Aishwarya had DISASTROUS debuts....
Amitabh Bacchan and SRK had debuts they wouldn't even want to remember today.....
Some of the dream debuts - Kumar Gaurav, Gracy Singh, Amisha Patel , Bhagyashree fizzled out....
The future is always open, sweeties....it really is....
And Red was right when he said ...Hope is a good thing and good things don't die.😳
Deepika is ok ( sorry, I have a personal problem with her😉)...Ranbir is a star and Sonam is the dark horse....
Keep watching.
