For now I would say Deepika.
For Sonam I think I will wait for her next movie to really talk about her acting skills because SLB potrays all his heroines in an excellent way . He has the knack of extracting the best from Manisha to Ash to Rani .
Deepika too didnt have much scope but her smile was so nice and she held her own against SRK which is commendable.

cant comment! becuase i don't watch both moive. i will watch it soon 😳

I finally saw OSO!! For me deepika is the star of OSO! and also shreya acted well, srk was fab to add humour and the role of arjun is the best from his career!

Deepika emoted both the characters so well though sandy was my fav, and who said she has got less screen presence in 2nd half? no way she was everywhere in the film and I absolutely loved her performance.. 😳

the answer is sonam...sonam's role was the toughest one with lot of layers...the expressions were always changing..fear..happiness..anger..humour.. naughtiness...craziness incurred from her waiting for her beloved to whom she is committed..there was so much shades of the character that it was tough to portray...even the sound of her smile changed with the character's mood change...we can feel what the character is feeling from the sound of her smile...her dialog delivery is just superb.. she is spontaneous and has great screen presence...the role demanded a lot from her and she made full justice to it...and in case of deepika - her role didnt want much from her..throughout the movie she had to act ok ok except three cases...1)the murder part where she finally look at shahrukh before die 2)when ghost shanti talks with arjun at the climax part 3)when ghost shanti finally look at shahrukh...but in 1st and 3rd cases she was more like a model giving her expression than an actress...there was a lack of flow in her acting...and the most important problem is her voice was dubbed.

I have just seen the first half of sa, it was ok .. too much songs one after another.. it slowed the pace of the story and yes sonam was very good, but i was not touch by the character she potryaed!! so i didnt like it much... the character is dreamy, she was for most of the time smilin laughin crying but i liked her scenes with salman in first half!! i thought i would enjoy ranbir sonam scenes more, but from the first half i liked salman and sonam scenes 😛 salman looked very nice!! ranbir was good..but not very good!! Rani was awesome as gulab ji.

I saw both movies and here is what i think.... 😳
Sonam didnt really have much of a role in Saawariya...I mean it was too short. And, I didnt like her role in the first place. But her expressions were amazing. She has that innocence in her eyes. And she's undoubtly gorgeous!In the movie, she acted like a child at times, and then she became a women. She portrayed many roles...from happy to sad...from cheerful to lonely. She showed that she's capable of doing any role😳
Deepika on the other hand had an superb role! Her costumes, expressions, everything were really good. Plus, she's soooooo pretty. Many people are saying that her voice was dubbed..Im not sure though.

So i guess im going to go with Sonam😃
