Since this is a comparison thread I would say that as an actor Abhishek is miles ahead of Hrithik. Abhishek is versatile and fit into many sets. Hrithik has limilations in acting but his looks make up for it like in Dhoom2 where I can't think of anyone other than him.

This is a comparison thread so I wrote my views on both. I find Abhishek versatile. I won't count Hrithik as a great actor though Dhoom 2 belongs to Hrithik.

I wrote something about both somewhere ealier in this thread too. I very much agree with you. Although AB has not had too many hit films, he has never been horrible, unlike Hrithik. Ler's just not go to MPKDH 🤢🤢🤢. Next to to Hrithik and Kareena, AB Jr. was the only savior.

Oh, and has anyone commited the mistake of watching Aap Mujhe Ache Lagne Lage? What was Hrithik thinking.. at least Abhishek has never performed as horribly as that 😃

You know Abhi has so much negativity after his marriage that many people just can not surpass that. So whatever you and me write they would just believe that Bollywood is just surviving because of Hrithik.......If he wasn't there then what would happen to this industry😃

I like both guys but my view is that they aer not same. Just someone wrote that Hritik won best actor awards....wasn't two of them for his Daddy's movies............but then dad can help Hrithik but not Abhi......double standards.......

You comment on Drona but canb't take it when someone say that they weren't impressed by Kkrish......

Have you not seen Abhi's earlier movies.....i suggest u go see Shararth, DKPK, Tera Jadoo....and all of the other 17 crap movies abhi did b4 doing Yuva. Tht'll probablly give u a more realistic idea abhishek's performance graph.

As for the whole issue abt Hrithik's father always coming to his rescue: I just dont see the logic behind it. YAsh Chopra happens to be the most successful director in India and yet Uday CHopra is not a sueprstar. A director can extract a god perforamce only if the actor has the skills in the first place.... Besides, if were to use the same logic, then Mani RAtnam has alwys managed to rescue Abhishek as well....it was Mani who proved to every1 tht Abhi could act with Yuva and after all teh flak tht Abhi got during D2, it was MAni who saved him with Guru. In other words ,Abhi clicks only with MAni Ratnam....

And hrithik's best performances have NOT come with his dad (barring KMG).....pls go watch FIza, k3g, MIssion Kashmir, Lakshya (and even NTJNH actually) again. And hrithik's most commercially successful movie came with YAshraj (D2) !

As for looks....it's not hrithik's fault he's good-looking......if looks mattered so much then all models would be top actors. And Hrithik has worked hard to look good.....he used to be a stick before; he had to build the muscle from scratch. And if I'm paying so much money then I might as well see some1 visually appealing.....if I want to see the 'boy next door' then I'd just go next door not to the theatre!

I have seen Tera Jaadoo Chal Gaya, Dhai Akshar Prem Ke and all that... but yet, I refuse to believe that he has been as bad as Hrithik has been sometimes.

About Daddy Roshan, helping Hrithik... I suggest you read my first post in the thread. Right there, I said that none of them should be put down for being star kids. It was piya who said that AB is where he is because of AB Sr. All I said that if you go by that logic, then Hrithik has been helped by dad also. I totally believe that their status should not be attributed to their dads. So, please go through previous posts before taking potshots.

And about the other movies you mentioned, they have not been commercial successes except K3G which had many other stars in it. So yeah, that's that. And about Dhoom 2, I acknowledged before too that HR almost looks like a Greek God and I do not have qualms in accepting that Hrithik outshone Abhishek totally in that movie. No second thoughts there...

Just for the record, I am not a fanatic for either AB or Hrithik. It's just sad though how people are putting down Abhishek without rhyme and reason.

^ I wasnt taking potshots at u! There r a lot of other ppl here who've claimed tht Hrithik is where he is only coz of his dad....

AS for Hrithik's other good performances not resulting in hits then I'd jsut lik to point out tht sometimes commercial success is not everything..IMO, Srk's best performances to date is in Swades but tht was not a huge hit was it? And MK n LAkshya werent diasasters at the BO...they fared average.

AS for AB not being bad in his movies b4 yuva, well then thts ur opinion......personally I think he was downright pathetic until Yuva and thts something Abhishek thinks himself! So no arguing in tht matter!

And every actor is put down at one point or the other....Its not lik Abhi is the only one who's alwys made the scapegoat---live with it!

Wow. You wrote exactly what I felt. And I completely agree with you about the commercial success aspect. Commercial success is not equivalent to good acting sometimes. I personally believe SRK's best work was in Swades- that was the first time I saw SRK the actor and I believe he even won the filmfare award for best actor that year, which he totally deserved. Swades was a good movie yet not a hit.

I personally believe Hrithik is a much better actor then Abhishek. I can't imagine Abhishek playing the sexy guy in Dhoom 2 or Rohit from Koi Mil Gaya or Karan from Lakshya. But I can imagine Hrithik playing every role Abhishek has played so far. Infact Bunty aur Babli and even Yuva was offered to Hrithik before Abhishek but he didnt do it because he didnt have the dates.

If Hrithik was limited as an actor why would great actors such as Anil Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Salman, Aamir, Saif call him the best among the current lot. Infact even directors be it Rakesh Mehra, Subhash Ghai, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Kunal Kohli, Ashutosh, Aditya Chopa, Karan Johar, and even Shekhar Kapur find him really talented. Not many actors could have played Hrithik in Koi Mil Gaya. Even SRK was all praise for Hrithik.

Abhishek is talented no doubt and a very good actor. He was amazing in Guru and I'm sure he'll be doing great work in the future as well. But personally, Hrithik is the better actor for me as he has everything thats is required in an actor - great acting capabilities, good looks, great dancing skills and a very pleasing personality.

alrite little B can be a good actor but when has he really proved it not much only Guru n some of the movies little B has gotten is only b/c Hrithik didn't have the dates to the...n even up to this date SRK even takes movies that hav been offered to Hrithik first but didm't have the dates to them like Main Hoo Naa and Swades....Hrithik has proven to be a great actor and dancer in every movie yeah yeah summ weren't hitss but everyone had flops even Big B has flops so wats hrtihik...but i don't think anyone in Bollywood could have done a better jod then Hrtihik in KMG or even hake their the first movie just coming into the Bollywood industry n make such at hit it goes in records for gettin the most awards being a debut film....so Hrthik will always be on top of little B no matter wat cuz little B can't stand a chance in front of Hrithik....the thing that made MPKDH was Hrithikkkk

I don't agree with the thread starter; even if I don't quite understand your stand on it, but hrithik is better than abhishek and it's a fact. Hrithik is a tremendously good actor, incredible dancer, and really cool..whereas I can't say the same about abhishek...the only thing cool he has is, I think, Ash... 😆 😆
