Cricket being a sort of religion in Indian, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is a big name today, as he is the captain of Indian cricket. He led the Indian cricket team from the front to beat arch rivals Pakistan in the recent T20 World Cup final. His team proved that they are deserving champions by beating the mighty Australians once again in the T20 format a couple of days ago. But there is one person who seems to have instigated the skipper to blast the winning six against the Aussies, and the girl is none other than actress Deepika Padukone.

making debut in Bollywood. Going a step further to show his admiration for the actress, he invited her to the T20 cricket match between India and Australia played recently at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.

To the much excitement of the skipper, Deepika turned up for the match and was cheerfully cheering Dhoni and his team. All eyes were on Deepika during the match in spite of the presence of big names like Rahul Gandhi, Sachin Tendulkar and actor Shahrukh Khan along with wife Gauri Khan and son. She watched Dhoni hit the winning six. She was there on the stands, cheering till the end and gave standing ovation to the winning team.

Interesting, Deepika is said to have left everything behind to cheer Dhoni and boys. She said that she is flattered by Dhoni's remark that he has a crush on her.

Well, the million dollar question is whether anything is cooking between the hard-hitting skipper and actress Deepika of Om Shanti Om? Is this the beginning of their romance? Only the famous duo can answer this. Of course we won't be surprised to see them together, because there is a long line of cricketers linked to Bollywood heroines.
