Upen Patel pokes fun at Salman Khan
At the music launch party of a Bhojpuri film starring Ravi Kishen, Janam Janam Ke Saath, Upen Patel was asked by media persons present to comment on Salman's arrest in the black buck case but the actor refused to comment and instead preferred to poke fun at the Partner star's jail yatra.
Visibly irritated, Upen rudely replied back, "I will not talk on Salman Khan as there are more important things to talk about in the industry .The law is same for all and whoever is guilty will be punished so why should all of media be worried."
Upen was even heard murmuring some funny comments about Salman though without directly taking the superstar's name. But anyone could guess on whom his sarcastic comments were directed. The Shakalaka Boom Boom star was heard saying, "God, he is enjoying a good vacation with nice healthy food even I wish to join him but as a visitor."
Upen's disliking for the star appears something to do with his ouster from the Salman Khan camp post his break off with Salman's bhabhi Malaika Arora Khan's sister Amrita Arora claim industry insiders.
Upen, after coming to Mumbai from UK to make it big in Bollywood, had initially started dating Amrita Arora. Through her he had made an entry into the Salman Khan camp and would be forever seen around the Khan family at events and parties and even their Bandra home. He would be heard proclaiming how Salman was helping him shape his physique. But as the affair went kaput he was discarded forever. The bitterness is still evident if one goes by his comments about his one time mentor.
