Kareena Kapoor doesn't believe in keeping her private life underwraps. The actress is making her relationship with Saif Ali Khan obvious in public. On Wednesday, she launched the music of Imtiaz Ali's Jab We Met on the sets of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge (Zee). While the participants belted out tracks from the film, Bebo distributed the CDs of the Ashtavinayak production among the audience.

Half an hour before the clock struck midnight, Saif Ali Khan landed up on the sets (Famous Studios, Mahalaxmi) to pick up his new ladylove. After the shooting was completed, Kareena walked out of the set and got into Saif's car. Later that night, Bebo was spotted having dinner with her new flame and best friend Karan Johar at , and didn't seem to care about the stares that came her way.

As for Shahid Kapur, the poor boy's down in the doldrums over his ladylove's antics. We hear he's not planning to come down to celebrate her birthday today after all. Earlier this week, we'd reported that he was planning to come from Toronto (where he's shooting for Aziz Mirza's film) to host a surprise bash for Bebo. But now he's had second thoughts.
We don't blame the poor chappie!

'Bash'ful no more: Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor

After all that talk about Kareena Kapoor not being a party girl, here is the truth. The actress threw a party on Thursday night to bring in her birthday on September 21 yesterday. But the party was neither at her home or that of big sis Karisma Kapur. Instead Bebo, who turned 27 yesterday, had something of a designer bash!

Says a source, "Kareena had an intimate get-together for close friends and family at designer Aki Narula's home in Juhu. She sent a last-minute SMS to everybody about the venue, and Karisma, Dino Morea, Amrita Arora, her boyfriend Usman Afzal and Saif Ali Khan came over. Karan (Johar) was in Delhi, so he couldn't attend."

Earlier this week, we'd reported that Shahid Kapur was planning to come down from Toronto (where he's shooting for Aziz Mirza's film) to host a surprise bash for Bebo. However, he later changed his mind as his ladylove seems in no mood for a reconciliation and has been openly flaunting new flame Saif.

Making it public

Says the friend, "I don't know why people are making such an issue about Kareena's break-up with Shahid. If two people aren't compatible any longer, why should they stay together? It's better to move on to someone who loves and understands you instead of being unhappy in a relationship. Bebo and Saif have been stepping out together in public because they don't want to hide the fact that they're together any more."

They're most recent outing together was when Saif came to pick up Bebo from the Sa Re Ga Ma show at Famous Studios (Mahalakshmi), after which they met Karan Johar for dinner at a South Mumbai hotspot.

Says the friend, "Saif waited in his car for nearly two hours till Bebo finished the event, after which they left together. Kareena is tired of the speculation over her personal life now and just wants people to let her be."

We'd let her, if only she'd come out in the open and talk about it!

Jumping the gun? Saif Ali Khan

Tom Cruise jumped up and down on Oprah Winfrey's couch to express his love for Katie Holmes.

And last night, Saif Ali Khan jumped out of his car at Santa Cruz and hugged Ganesha revellers on the streets.

Guess he was tripping about bringing in new ladylove Bebo's birthday, huh?

Not for the next four years for sure. I'll most definitely marry Shahid. I'm not the kind to jump from one relationship to another. For me love is for keeps.

What goes around comes around...karma has a way of biting you when you least expect it. For a person who claimed to be so unfront and honest...what Kareena has done is not a nice thing to do. Dumping a loyal and loving partner like this is horrible.

Shahid didn't come for Kareena's b'day

All good things must come to an end, goes an old saying and that's exactly what seems to have happened to the 4 year old honeymoon between Shahid and Kareena. The apparent break- up got loud and now it's getting louder with each day. Till now there were only wild guessing games and speculations in the corridors of tinsel ville about this new love triangle brewing in with the coming in of Saif Ali Khan. But now the relationship really seems to have gone kaput. Over the weekend we spotted Saif and Kareena around town the latest being in Olive Bar & Kitchen a popular hangout for the A list Bollywood crowd and models in Bandra.

They were accompanied by designer Aki Narula and Amrita Arora. "They are regulars here and they look very much comfortable with each other," says a staff. And now the final blow in their already strained relation is Shahid's non show today for Kareena's birthday. It was presumed that Shahid will be making an attempt to salvage his relationship by flying down from Toronto to surprise Kareena on her birthday. But we hear now that Shahid has refused to fly down to Mumbai. And after completing Nagesh Kukunoor's Tasveer in Canada along with Akshay Kumar, he is currently shooting for Aziz Mirza's film along with Vidya Balan.

"Shahid hasn't told us about his plans of going to Mumbai and the shooting is on fill swing. It's a month long schedule," informs a unit member. While now we hear that their alleged break up has sent the producers of their forthcoming Jab We Met in a tizzy.

"We still have one day's shoot left on Shahid and Kareena, a romantic scene for a song," says a unit member.

I'm still confused and for me it's hard to beleive Shahid-Kareena broken up. Kareena became vegetarian for shahid and once she said she will murder the girl whoever came between us and won't regret going to jail. I don't understand what really happened?
