Big bets riding on Sanjay Dutt's conviction By MovieTalkies.com, 27 July 2007 |
Even as the day of judgement draws closer for actor Sanjay Dutt in Mumbai bomb blast case, the Mumbai bookies have already started picking up bets in the fate of the actor. Mumbai bookies are reported to be offering tight odds of 1:1.4 for a conviction of three years for the actor. They have already started accepting bets. Apparently bets amounting to Rs 80 crore have already been collected. The odds are expected to change early next week, just before the actor's final appearance in court to hear his sentence, which will be handed out by the TADA court judge. The actor is going to be calling in his birthday in two days time and understandably is in no mood for any celebrations so close to judgement day. |
