Long Bipasha with short Emraan in Raaz sequel!
Bipasha Basu will be seen with Emraan Hashmi in the sequel to Vikram Bhatt's 2002 hit Raaz. The movie is titled Raaz 2. Interestingly, Bipasha was offered a role in Footpath opposite Emraan when she was new. But she refused saying Emraan was shorter than her in height and so both would not look good together onscreen.

When we asked Emraan about this, he said, "Such things happen in the film industry and it was totally her choice. Now also it is her decision to work with me. When we become famous and are established, people want to work with us and associate themselves with us. Such thing should not affect one. I don't have any problem if she says or thinks so because it is totally her way of thinking".
Emraan has acted mainly in a string of Mahesh Bhatt films, many of which have been hits, and will reach something of a climax this weekend. On Friday he stars in the first big budget film from the Bhatt stable, Awarapan. Should it succeed, he will be seen as a serious player, especially because the film is going head-to-head with the Deol familiy's Apne and Himesh's Aap Ka Surroor.
Jism was the last time Bipasha worked with the Bhatts. After that, she was said to have been offered some films by the Bhatt camp but did not express interest in doing them.
Height may not have been that big an issue for Biapsha because she worked with Uday Chopra, shorter than her, in Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai and Dhoom 2. But wagging tongues would say that the big banner of Yash Raj Productions would compensate for any lack of height in the hero.
