Karan is back from his holiday in London. Here are a few anecdotes from his eventful trip

After having exchanged a few cheques when he was strolling on a pavement an errant passer-by pushed him against a wall and demanded cash and valuables. He says, "I was definitely being watched while walking along a pavement. I pleaded with the mugger for my passport. After taking everything, he pushed me so hard that I fell flat on the road. I felt so violated and exploited after I was left without a single pound in my pocket." This time it was more fun as he spent quality time with SRK. However, he was not really successful in pushing Shah Rukh out of his house for dinner. He says, "We spent a lot of time as one big family. Mum was also around. But getting Shah Rukh out of his is a big task. He is a complete house-body and takes no interest in dining outside." It's a lesser-known fact that Karan has been maintaining a daily diary since 1993. Usually, he jots down the events and the people he meets everyday. He says, "I do hide these dairies as they have a lot of personal notes. But I strongly recommend the habit of maintaining a diary." Along with the four films that he is producing, his run as the host of the show, Koffee With Karan, is far from over. Presently, he is in talks with Salman Khan and his family. If all goes well, Salim Khan and his three sons will make an appearance on the show. "Salman is a friend and I'll beg and plead to get him on the show," he concludes on a hopeful note. |
