Indu-Ashok gets playful!
Producer-director Indra Kumar (Indu) and his partner Ashok Thakeria (DIL, BETA and MASTI fame) have turned their eyes to theatre. After acquiring the filming rights of the superhit Gujarati play, BA AE MAARI BOUNDARY, the duo has inked a deal for another play, LALI-LILA. The latter play, first staged in Marathi by Devendra Pem, was later made in Gujarati and then by AB Corp in Hindi.
If acquiring the rights of the two plays (on which their two forthcoming films will be based) was not enough, Indu-Ashok's new film, DHAMAAL, has been scripted by a team of three playwrights - Paritosh Painter, Balvinder Singh and Bunty Rathod.
