NDTV's program Jai Jawan committed towards the Indian army is getting strong response from Bollywood. The latest movie world celebrity to meet the jawans is Aishwarya Rai. Rai traveled all the way to the Siachen glacier at a height of 13000 feet to meet the soldiers. She spent more than a day with the jawans dancing, dining, distributing sweets and sharing her experiences.

This special episode of Jai Jawan will be telecast as a new year special.
