Bollywood mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan , quipped at fellow actor Anil Kapoor at the International Indian Film Academy's press conference at Gurgaon near New Delhi.
Kapoor in his address to the gathering mentioned, "The first time when IIFA was held, I didn't go for the ceremony. I got to know that I had won two awards while watching the programme (ceremony) on TV. That's when I decided I am not going to miss anymore."
The actor, who had bagged the 'Best Comedian' and 'Best Supporting Actor' at the IIFA 2000 said, "I have never won another award after I associated myself with the awards ceremony. This proves that IIFA is free from bias."
Bachchan, brand ambassador for IIFA, in his address, pulled a quick one at Kapoor and left the audience in splits when he said, "I would like to clarify that I have won a couple of awards at IIFA. But since, Kapoor said that he has not won any IIFA award since 2000, I would advise him to change the colour of his French beard if he wants to win."
Kapoor, who is known to frequently change his looks and currently sports a French beard, laughed along with everybody and was seen gesturing to Bachchan humorously about the beard after the event.
Bachchan sports a white beard in contrast to his coloured hair.
