Bachchan's Allahabad kin feel let down over no invite for Abhi-Ash wedding

Allahabad, Apr.18: Whereas the talk of the country is the wedding of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, relations of Amitabh Bachchan are a disappointed lot.

Expressing their displeasure over not figuring in the list of the invitees.

Kishore Srivastava, a cousin of Amitabh Bachchan, who had earlier attended the marriage of Shweta Bachchan, says he was expecting an invitation this time too.

"My dad had been to the marriage of Shweta Bachchan in Mumbai, but this time we are not invited," said Ravi, Kishore's son.

Kishore and his elder brother Ashok Srivastava are now taking care of Dr. Harivanshrai Bachchan's house in Allahabad, which witnessed the composition of one of the finest works of Hindi poetry, Madhushala.

But it's been a long time since the Bachchans visited the house, or their relatives.According to neighbours, they have not seen the Bachchans at the place, even when Amitabh was here for campaigning in the 1980s.

"I have been living here for the past 15 years but I have never seen Amitabh or anyone from the family visiting the house. He did not come here when he visited Allahabad to immerse the ashes of Harivanshrai. So, we do not really expect any invitation form them. They have broken all ties with relatives here," said Alka, a neighbour of Ashok Srivastava.

Although the Srivastavas are deeply hurt at this isolation, they are still running the school run in the memory of Dr Harivanshrai's mother. It was inaugurated by her son and grandson - Dr.Harivanshrai and Amitabh.

there was a article jaya didn't even invite her own sister. see it's a very private wedding😆

Nope, they were too busy inviting Sonali Bendre, Suniel Shetty, Kajol, etc...😆😆
