Aishwarya was excellent in Kandukondain Kandukondain. She played the role of Meenakshi (Marianne Dashwood in Sense and Sensibility) perfectly. She was the younger, more romantic sister who loved poetry. Seriously, one of Aishwarya's best performances. She looked beautiful in the simple saris and salwaar kameez. Her acting was natural. Nothing was really too forced and her last scene with Abbas where he asks her to run away with him is definitely praiseworthy. Her expressions at seeing him with his fiance was another great scene!

The movie was realistic and fairly honest to the novel. I wish I could the same about Bride & Prejudice.

Devdas, HDDCS, Choker Bali and Guru deserve 👏 👏 as well. Haven't seen Provoked or Shabd yet. I'm surprised Umrao Jaan did not make the list. 😕

true...Guru, Provoked, Shabd, Choker Bali really are class 👏 👏 👏 I dunno how a person who acted so well in such films hammed in d2

i didnt see shabd, provoked and kandukondain kandukondain (the last one i never even heard of)

so from the ones tht i have seen...ill say guru and choker bali were awesome 👏 👏 👏 ...also HDDCS and raincoat 👏 devdas i didnt like her much in there...i thut she was very fake....in B&P she was really bad and josh 😕 i mean i love josh...itz a fun movie to watch and all....but aish's top 10 performances 😕 😕 nahhhhh!!

i have my hopes up high for provoked...i saw the trailor and it seemed she was really good!!

and ummm...kandukondain kandukondain....is that hindi?? or wat?? based on a novel ehhh...i wanna watch it now...sum1 give me details about this movie 😳
