09 April 2007 (Sawf News) - In an interview with HT's Khalid Mohamed, Kareena Kapoor shredded to pieces recent press reports that she is out of work because of an attitude. She has a busy schedule right to the end of the year, she says. Currently she is in Punjab shooting for a film by Imtiaz Ali in which she is paired opposite beau Shahid Kapoor. Shooting for the film is expected to end on May 30 immediately after which, she starts work on Tashan, a film directed by Vijay Acharya, starring Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, that is being produced under the Yash Raj banner. From November 1 she gets busy on Mani Ratnam's Lajjo... Well, she doesn't seem to be out of work. What about the gossip that says she has been dropped from Kismet Talkies because Hrithik Roshan declined to work with her? Kareena demolishes it by clarifying that the film is merely delayed because director Zoya Akhtar is changing the script. "The film will happen next year," Kareena says. Was she dropped from a Karan Johar film being directed by his former assistant Tarun Mansukhani and is she upset with Karan because of it? Kareena says "I wasn't ever asked by him to be in the film." As far as being upset with Karan goes she says, "He's the brother I never had. For Karan, I'd do anything." We don't buy the "do anything" bit but that is only because we have rather vivid imaginations! How can there be smoke without fire? There is indeed a fire. Kareena concedes of a possible problem between him and Abhishek who the gossip says will not act with her because she is Karisma's sister. "I am quite clueless about this myself," she admits uncharacteristically perhaps for the first time in her life. "Even if that is the case, why make a big deal about it?" she asks. "I am not uncomfortable at all about acting with him but I can't say for a fact that he is."
