The film worked more cos of pre-release and post-release hype, whether it was so-so actress wearing a bikini in the film or the infamous kiss controversy. Aishwarya and Hrithik looked good together but that was about it. No offence to fans of the jodi, just my view.

Hey,you arent the only one..Personally,even I felt they werent as good as the hype makes them out to be...They LOOKED good together,it ends there...The film worked because of MANY other reasons,and even had PRyanka played Sunehri,the film would have worked equally well....Infact the true acid test for this pair is going to be Jodhaa Akbar,which doesnt have other gimmicks like stunts,skin show etc to take the attention away from the chemistry

Producer Ritesh Sidhwani refutes rumours of the actor walking out of the Zoya Akhtar directorial

When Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor agreed to be cast together in the Zoya Akhtar directorial, 'Kismet Talkies' to be produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, it seemed a casting coup. Incidentally, the two actors had decided not to act together for a while now.

However, it later came to be known that Hrithik had decided not to be a part of the film. The recent buzz is that Kareena has also decided to walk out of the film. Ritesh refutes this saying, "First of all, Hrithik didn't walk out of the film. Zoya and he have been in talks for a year and half! During the conversations, they got excited about another project. They want to work together on that film first."

He continues, "However, we still want to produce 'Kismet Talkies'. So we have been in talks with other actors to be cast opposite Kareena. Kareena is still very much a part of our film. We are waiting to get the right actor and his dates to pair opposite her. We are disturbed by the rumours of Kareena not being a part of our movie. 'Kismet Talkies' excites us as a film and we cannot wait to start shooting it," he asserts.

hmm...Interesting...Kareena and Hrithik havent had a hit till date...maybe thats why Hrithik refused to work with her😉...anyways...thanks for sharing

This film is forever in the news for all reasons.Perhaps its just a stunt to build up some hype around the film.Rumours about Hrithik walking out of the film,Kareena walking out,then their refusting the rumours and confirming that they are INDEED in the film,now this news.All amounts to publicity.Or perhaps its Hrithik himself who's planting these news.Kareena manages to stay in the limelight by giving interviews at regular clockwork speaking about her personal life,so tis might perhaps be HR's strategy to stay in the news,as he anyways cant speak about Jodhaa Akbar,so perhaps he believes speaking about his other film KT..I might be wrong too🤔

Lakshmi...Kareena n Hrithik do have a hit: K3G! They both decided not to do movies with each other coz rumors of their so-called affair started spreading every time they did a movie together (another reason why I'm glad he's not in KT!)

yaar...lekin u know some articles say K3G was a flop some say its a hit😆...Overseas it was a huuge hit (OFC...K Jo films cant flop for NRIs)...

I dunno the storyline Kismat Talkies... so cant comment...But Hrithik has a number of biggies in his bag...😉

PS:I dun think Hrithik Ash make a superb pair...but yaar...they are definitely better than SRK-Rani who were voted number 1😕 I have zero idea abt JA...Bcoz as u know mujhe toh sirf Ab and Abhi films ke baare mein maloom hai🤣🤣🤣 Just kidding...
