'I can't date another girl because of Amrita

E Niwas's My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves, starring Amrita Rao and newcomer Nikhil Dwivedi, is 75 per cent complete.

Though Nikhil is very happy with the film, his alleged affair with Amrita is causing the actor sleepless nights.

'Date' problems

The buzz is that Nikhil has been dating Amrita ever since they started work together on My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves.

Nikhil fumes at the allegation, saying, "No I am not dating Amrita. Neither would we want to date each other. I was shocked when I came to know of the link-up.

It's irresponsible to float such rumours. In spite of being in the industry for five years, not once did she make me feel like a newcomer. She has been a complete professional right from day one."

Nikhil admits that his love life has been affected by the alleged rumour. "Apart from the fact that it must have affected Amrita's dignity, there is also the fact that I can't date another girl because of Amrita.

Nor can a girl who is interested in me ask me out on a date. They feel I am already hooked to Amrita. I am having serious problems with my love life…"

But Nikhil is quick to add that he's not on the lookout for a romantic involvement right now. "Though I am single, I don't want to date anybody. I want to focus on my career."

Not my buddy

The buzz is that Shah Rukh Khan is producing the film. "That's not true. T-Series and E Niwas are co-producing the film.

E Niwas wanted to set up his own banner and as he's co-producing for the first time. He wanted some production expertise, which Red Chillies has extended. Shah Rukh knows E Niwas as he's directed some ads with them," he says.
Nikhil is also quick to deny any friendship or close association with SRK.

"I know him in a professional capacity, as I was working with a group of which he was the brand ambassador (Sansui).

I can't claim to be his friend. If he has given that impression, it's because Shah Rukh is a nice person. I was an employee; it would be foolish for me to think that he's my friend."

Oh my God!!!!Dnt say like this.How can any1 hate amrita.She's the sweetest and the most talented ,young actresses of today's generation.And no,she's not dating nikhil.She's clarified herself in her interview.
