SRK and Saif team up for Dhoom 3

Casting coup?

We're not taking names, but you need to do some guesswork… The premiere production house is planning the third installment of the smash hit and if what's being said is true, the Big Boss of this company will direct the film himself. Reportedly, he has roped in the top Khan to essay a pivotal role, while the other Khan -- not the one who loves to flaunt his physique, but someone who specializes in romantic roles -- has been approached for the second principal role. If the casting materializes, the two Khans would be working in a film after a gap of four years. Also, it's a foregone conclusion that the film would create a big dhoom when it hits the screens in the latter half of 2008.

I am sry but SRK is quiet a big hypocrit...in his recent interview he said that Dhoom 2 was a senseless and storyless movie.....and now he himself is accepting the offer to be part of D3....and as far as i know the dhoom series is more bout style and stunts than story......

Thats a bit harsh seeing as D3 aint gonna be directed by the same person, aint gonna have the exact same story...gonna star different people...he said D2 was senseless...not D3...and who even knows if this is true...(although I am hoping it is!)

Sanjay Gadhvi out of Yashraj; SRK-Saif in 'Dhoom 3'?

His comments on Abhishek Bachchan seem to have cost director Sanjay Gadhvi his position at Yashraj Films, if rumours are to be believed. Post Dhoom 2 , the director had commented about Hrithik's larger impact in the film, and even reportedly said that Abhishek was finished and beaten. Obviously, dad Amitabh wasn't amused at this running down of beta Abhishek, and immediately lashed out claiming that the director's comment was in bad taste.

Now the latest is that Gadhvi is no long with the Yashraj banner – and if industry wallas are to be believed, this could be a fallout of his earlier comments on Abhishek. The grapevine is already buzzing with the rumour that 'Dhoom 3' will now be directed by either Yash Chopra himself of Aditya Chopra.

Also, rumour has it that this time YRF has zeroed in on two of the Khan boys for the film – the toss up is between Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh and Saif Ali Khan. When we called Yashraj, their spokesperson, Monica Bhattacharya denied any such development saying that nothing had been finalised on the film as yet. As for Sanjay Gadhvi being shown the door, she replied, "All our directors have a three-film contract with Yashraj and Sanjay's contract came to a natural end.

He did 'Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi', 'Dhoom' and 'Dhoom 2', and that's the reason he is no longer with us now." However, asked whether Yashraj would work with Gadhvi again and whether Gadhvi would be called in to direct 'Dhoom 3', Monica side-stepped the question, saying, "How can I comment on what will happen? We haven't even decided on 'Dhoom 3' yet." The director of the 'Dhoom' series, meanwhile, was unavailable for comment despite repeated attempts to contact him.

thats quite rude. these are just rumours and you calling shahrukh a hypocrite just because he said dhoom 2 lacked sensibility? I didn't knew being honest can harm a person. WHich i agree with shahrukh. Dhoom 2 was all about good body and skin show. Shahrukh is many interviews mentioned he hassn't even got approached. at the end you end with dhoom series is more about style and stunts, then why calling shahrukh a hypocrite?

same here niya. i don't understand why people even use the word hypocrite for shahrukh when he didn't do anything wrong😕it's his opinion and he gave it to his friend aditya. dhoom 2 had no story. ending was horrible🤢if aditya is directing dhoom 3 then im sure he would have good story and great dialouges😳

First of all i am just stating my opinion, and i said that Dhoom series is about style and stunts so how can he expect it to have an excellent story that has a hard hitting message......Dhoom 1 was a huge hit cauz it a long time there wasnt any film that had such style and action in a movie, and same goes for Dhoom 2....and to continue dhoom series D3 should also be about style, action, and stunts and i dobut that it'll have a good story.....so now SRK is saying that D3 is going to have an excellent story, with great style and stunts...and thats why he is accepting the offer.....well i doubt that...but lets just wait and watch



P.S. And all the ppl who are getting offened but what I said....well there is no reason to get mad because I was stating my opinion....i wasnt bashin SRK so no need for anyone to get angry for no reason....and just because all of you are happy with SRK accepting D3....doesnt neccesarily mean that i have to be happy as well....i think everyone should learn to respect other's opinions rather than trying to stir up a fight
