Similarly, dont you think others who dont have any favourites as such but just are fans of CINEMA would be outraged when a BETTER performer loses out to a BIGGER STAR.... 😭 ...I'm a HUGE fan of Abhishek Bachchan, but I still feel he doesnt deserve the Best supporting actor for KANK🤢...Being a fan doesnt always means defending EVERY performance of the actor,a true fan is the WORST critic of the star....I dont mean to offend you,but simply put yourself in our shoes and see😊

and if its PURELY popular choice awards,LRMB should have won,it was the biggest hit of the year in terms of collection..Though D2 made more money,Dhoom 2 budget was 2.5 times more than that of LRMB

I am not a blind hrithik fan and dont always support every hrithik movie...when Hrithik did MPKDH, Yaadein, AMALL....then i did say that those were his most worst performances....but Filmfare is all about popular awards....LRMB was popular film and did win alot of awards...but did Sanju give 2 back to back super duper hits....No....Hrithik did and he deserved it.....Aamir was good in RDB....but RDB was a multi-starrer and eveyr1s role was equally good....when i watched that film I completely loved it...but i didnt think that only Aamir's characted stood out...just Aamir was the most experienced out of all the other actors in the film didnt necessarily mean that he was suppose to stand out......and I thought that Hrithik in Krrish was only likeable during the stunts....in Dhoom 2 i think he played an awesome cool villian....the talking style, walking style and stunts were perfect....and I dont think that in order to win best actor you only have to do a film that has to give out an important message or has to bea film that teaches something....I thought Dhoom 2 was a film in a long time that i ddint get bored watching for even a minute...So i think Hrithik winning for D2 was justified as Dhoom 2was the biggest hit of 2006 and Hrithik overshadowed ever1 in that film

No,I'm not stopping Hrithik fans from rejoicing..They are going to,all this year and why not...Hrithik has delivered two smash hits last year 😊

But,I wouldnt rejoice if my favourite star wins when he/she doesnt deserve...I feel bad for the other actors, who have given better performances, but didnt get the deserved due...I'm a HUGE fan of Abhishek, and am not THAT great a fan of Arshad, but I still feel bad and sorry for Arshad not winning the Best supporting actor and I dont feel one bit happy because Abhishek won it...Maybe that's just me... 😊

About the net gross,I'm not abreast with the BOI figures..If I'm wrong,I stand corrected

Rashi,Hrithik was great in Dhoom..No two ways about that 😊 ..

But do you think his "ACTING" was better than Aamir's or Sanju's...I dont think so....I felt Aamir stood out in RDB...Watch him in the last scene with Siddharth,I felt Aamir clearly stole the show from Siddharth(whom I felt was a bit raw in certain parts of the film)..The ONLY performer who was as good as Aamir was Atul Kulkarni, the rest were a tad bit below Aamir(SHarman,Kunal and Siddharth)

Lage Raho winning doesnt upset me,because it was a BRILLIANT film....I find these awards unfair, because its SOLELY not based on popularity either...Omkara was a flop,so why give Konkona an award....Afterall,its all POPULARITY awards right,so give that award to Preity,as KANk was a hit....Certain awards were given on merit(Best Supporting Actress female,Best Direction) and certain awards thanks to the BO verdict of the films(Best supporting actor male, best actor male, best actress female)....If it was PURELY POPULARITY based,Sanjay Gadhvi should have won the best director award...When that can be given to Raju Hirani,I'm sure Best Actor could have been given to Sanjay Dutt....Why this inconsistency 😕 ....That's why I find it unfair

Ok I agree that Aamir and Sanju scored higher than hrithik in RDB and LRMB....and I loved both those films, because they both presented good messages.....but i think all award shows are unfair at some point or another...i mean there is no award show that everyone is going to agree with the results....i also had my disagreements with some of the results but I dont think there is any use to create a topic because that is just going to ppl mad, because no matter how much we argue at the end none of the results are going to change

As far as for what you mentioned about popularity even i am confused about that....because since for many years....everyone always says that filmfare has it popular award category and critics award catergory and the crirtic awards seem more fair....but i dont know what to say about that, because some of the awards given clearly show that those awards were based on the popularity factor....but if u look at other awards like Saif in Omkaara and Konkana in Omkara....with Omkaara being a flop and still both of them winning...shows that those awars were given actually on the actors performance rather than its popularity

if thts the case then movies like Corporate, dor, Khosla ka Ghosla shd be sweeping all the awards...I doubt Sony is a charity channel so why on earth would they endorse a show tht actually rewards the best performers....if the bset performers were to really win then no 1 would watch the show!!! Atleast the masses wouldnt!

I knew that Hrithik was going to win, awards r so predictable nowadays, even if u dont watch the awards one can tell who the winner will turn out to be.... but in my opinion hrithik didnt deserve an award for dhoom 2, i wud of rather given him an award for krrish than dhoom 2... 😕
wat was there in dhoom 2? in my opinion extraordinary stunts, a new look, perfect fitness and potraying a cool villian is not the best performance especially wen one luks at the other nominees in that category, one can say that it was a good performance by hrithik, but wen i luk at amir's performance in RDB or sanjay's in LRMB, i really cant see the greatness of hrithik's act in dhoom 2... ....

im a really big fan ouf Shahrukh, and i must say even then i wanted Amir to win this year, and since sum awards have already taken place i really wanted Amir to win this filmfare award...... regardless of the fact that RDB was a multistarrer, Amir's performance really stood out and was a very strong performance, i myself really didnt lyk RDB, honestly i just thought it was okay, but if there was one thing that i liked then that was the acting of every single person in that film, especially amir's! ..... im not saying that hrithik was at his worst in dhoom 2, he was very good at wat he did, but honestly i cant say that his dhoom performance was better than that of sanjay's or amir's... ... and its not lyk 2006 was a year just for hrithik, i mean if we luk back at previous yrs, mostly there's one performance that just shines over everything and one just has to say that widout a doubt this film or this actor/actress deserves all the awards , but 2006 was not just any ordinary yr, there was competition and just stating that Dhoom 2 was the biggest hit or a great film that scored high at the box office doz not justify any reason 4 hrithik deserving the best actor award for dhoom 2 at the filmfare awards!

Aamir did win best actor critics award....and Hrithik won best actor popular award....the popular award winners are decided by the online poll that is conducted on filmfare.com....and critics award is decided by a certain group of ppl....so hrithik won do to popularity and Aamir won do to his acting...so this should make all those ppl happy who wanted Aamir to win...because he did win

I would love it if aamir or sanju won best actor (popular) and I do think they deserve it....they completely deserve winning it.

but im still happy hrithik won....coz I'm his fan and I'm happy tht he's happy today.

NO I dont feel bad for other actors who lose out coz barring aamir n hrithik, I'm not a huge fan of other actors. I appreciate other actors performances but appreciation is where it ends for me......

maybe it's coz we have different definitions of wht a 'fan' is.

Well Hrithik was awesome in what he did last year, whether it was krish or Dhoom 2. He was loved and admired being a villain! It really has to be the actor to carry it off even though it looked simple.
