The glittering ceremony of the MAX Stardust Awards was held on 18th February'07 at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. The program included a lot more than just the handing over of awards. There were specially devised entertainment acts, including song and dance performances by leading stars like Kareena Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Imran Hashmi and Kangana Ranaut.

Amongst the people who attended the event were Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Preity Zinta, Sanjay Dutt, John Abraham, Kunal Kapoor, Tushar Kapoor, Dino Morea, Boman Irani, Rakesh Omprakash Mehra, Raj Kumar Hirani, Vishal Bhardwaj, Sanjay Gupta, Nagesh Kukunoor, Smita Thackrey, Priti Jhangiani, Kim Sharma and many others. The event had lavish sets coupled with lasers, special effects, lighting and acoustics to create a breathtaking audio and visual impact.

The Award is a coming together of two giants, Stardust the world's largest selling film magazine and MAX, India's no.1 Hindi movie channel. The idea behind the 'MAX Stardust Awards' is to establish it as an event that truly reflects the edginess and irreverence that has become synonymous with young Bollywood.
