Kantara is just an excuse dude. It's not some juggernaut in the Hindi language. It might do 20 Cr max in Hindi. Plus it's target audience is completely different, targeting Single screens in the Hindi belt.

Sunny Sanskari got a great screen count in Multiplexes and occupancy won't even touch 40% on a National Holiday. It's NOT Good by any metric.

Bad Newz opened to 8.5 Cr(Not a Holiday) and did 65 Cr lifetime. Looks like the best comparison at the moment unless something changes.

Kantara got about 19-20 crores for its opening day on Hindi circuits and 60 crores for all languages so it is a good opening in Hindi circuit donno how it will perform in the upcoming days
